Analogue Day Film Swap Between Berlin and New York Winner Announcement

After multiple trips in a suitcase from NYC to Vienna, Vienna to Berlin and vice versa, wherein 12 rolls of film traveled around the world and went through different cameras and airports, our film swap film competition has come to an end and we are ready to announce the winners.

Uncertainty, curiosity, and surprise are reasons why you should never refuse an offer for a film swap. A film swap entitles you to the adventure of sharing film with another person and the unexpected but exciting results that come thereafter.

The procedure is very simple. One person starts the process and takes his 36 (or 24) exposures. He rewinds the film after consuming all exposures and then sends the roll of film to another person. The receiver of the film takes his turn at taking pictures until the entire roll is finished.

Seven photographers from Berlin and five from New York were invited to add excitement to Film Photography Day by taking part in our NYC-Berlin Film Swap Competition.

The Winners

It sure was funto look at all the pictures, but difficult to pick one winner. Nonetheless we have decided to give the prize to the people behind the best film roll. Here are the best photos from the winning roll:

Congratulations to kiaf and katrinschade on winning a Fisheye No.2 camera!
