wow this one is really great :) , but how did u get the backgorund so blurry and soft shouldn't the Horizon perfect be sharp to infinity ?

@angelhaken you're right... I suspect, and this happened to me before, that this nice blur is from condensation on the lens (the camera was under my coat before I took it out to shoot in the freezing wind)... : )

@stouf thanks for the info .. well I then might not try this out then :) .. maybee a similar effect is possible in the darkroom with blur masks :) .. I really think that the blured background in contrast to the sharp foreground realy makes the image work for me - great pice :)
