Nineteen Eighty-Four
This double exposure has always given off what I see as an almost Orwellian feeling, with the building projecting a distinctly dystopian tone. I like the way in which the layering of nature has overcome that image, leaving it as little more than a ghostly frame to those autumnal leaves and branches.
Taken by thefinalcoda with a Lomo Smena 8M loaded with Kodak Ultramax 400 film in Auckland, New Zealand. These tags describe this photo: double exposure, trees, building, orwellian, auckland, new zealand, autumn, and fall. Date: 2012. This photo can also be found in the album Lomo Smena 8M.
