Germany in Your Country! ended about 2 years ago

Are you a fan of the Bundesliga? BMW? Mercedes-Benz? Curry Wurst? Beethoven? Well, if you have shots of whatever that reminds you of Germany, submit it to this competition and you might just win something cool!

Since photokina 2012 will take place in Germany, where Cologne will be made into an analogue city, we want to run a competition with a German theme.

So what’s the first thing that comes into your mind when it comes to Germany? Some of you might say Oktoberfest, some might say the Christopher Street Day Parade, and some might just say, “Guten Tag”. Whatever it is that you relate to Germany, if you have it on film, submit them here and win piggies!

It doesn’t have to be pictures that are taken in Germany. You can be eating a curry wurst in Japan for all we know. Don’t be shy, show us what reminds you of Germany in your country!

The best rumble with specific country ever. Mostly previous rumble with specific country require photo must be taken in their country. The best thing of Germany for me are Martina Gedeck, Stefanie Schneider, Irene Andessner, Stefan Moses, Leica, Carl Zeiss, AGFA, Kraftwerk, The Beatles play their first foreign gig in one pub in Hamburg, OMG, so many =D

i already know a winner photo. it´s by @sushi_9009. hopefully he submits it. well, i think it´s a nice competition because for me as german it´s interesting what user from other countires think is typical german.
quite often it´s reduced to beer, brezel and traditional bavarian wirtshäuser and biergarten (pubs). and it´s hyperbolical. once saw a bavarian pub in vancouver and it looked so kitschy/sappy that you wouldn´t find something similar over here.
