Look at what we have here! The new La Sardina DIY Edition, all clean and white – a smooth canvas for you to doodle and paint on. Can you imagine all the possibilities? For this competition, we are looking for the top 3 most impressive La Sardina DIY designs.
Each La Sardina DIY Edition package includes a cute little screwdriver so that you can disassemble the shell of the camera. This allows you to fully customize your camera, covering every edge and corner.

How to join:
Segment 1
- Download this La Sardina DIY PDF
- Print it and/or design it any way you please.
- Submit photos of your design.
- Prizes: 10 Piggy Points each for the 3 selected winners.
Segment 2
- Grab your La Sardina DIY Camera
- If you wish, Download this La Sardina DIY PDF so that you can plan and practice your design before making it permanent. Alternatively, just have fun with your camera! Spill paint on it, make Keith Haring-inspired doodles, glue fake tattoos on it – it’s your call, just remember that you can go way beyond just the panels. The flash and camera frame are also customisable
- Take some photos of your customized La Sardina DIY and upload them this rumble
- The Lomography Design Team will be choosing the top 3 winners who will receive a new La Sardina DIY Edition Camera or its equivalent in Piggy Points.

@guanatos: since the camera comes with an additional removable plate, you can really use anything: photos, patterned paper, stickers... the options are endless!

This is a bit weird, isn't it? If you don't have a La Sardina DIY you can download the PDF file and win just 10 piggy points, but not win a Sardina. However if you own a La Sardina DIY you can win a second one or loads more piggy points? Hmm.

Don't really get that you can only win a La Sardina DIY if you already own one, but here's to trying for the piggy points anyways. Someone should fix this contest so that the people without the La Sardina can win one, I don't really know why someone would really need two of the same camera.
