Monochrome Twins Rumble Winners Announcement!

Inspired by Diane Arbus who is known for her black-and-white square format images, this rumble challenged you guys to come up with your own photos of twins in black-and-white square format. While a lot of you didn't follow directions, there were still those who managed to get the right shots in. Now let's see who won!

Cathleen and Colleen Wade. Identical Twins, Roselle, New Jersey, 1967. Photo via anthonylukephotography.blogspot

This rumble is inspired by the above photo of twins Cathleen and Colleen Wade. The iconic photo was echoed in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining and is one of Arbus’ most popular works. Using an LC-Wide, Diana F+, Lubitel, or any other analogue camera capable of shooting square format, we asked you to take a stab at your own “twins photo” with three winners winning what else, piggies!

It was a tough call given that so many of you submitted great entries but we had to choose three right? So congrats to the winners, first place will get 15 piggies, second place will get 10 piggies, and third place will get 5 piggies, and they’ll each get a special award badge that will go straight to their LomoHomes. Enjoy and ’til the next rumble!

Goodness me, for some reason i only saw the announcement of this rumble now! I would have loved to been in the top three, but there has been a mistake, that photo was taken by @theweeds , and it is a beautiful shot indeed!
