Want to be a part of the first public LomoWall display outside of London? This summer, Manchester will be unveiling a huge LomoWall in the Piccadilly Basin in the Northern Quarter as part of the Urban Canal Festival, an initiative to rejuvenate the waterways and surrounding areas across Manchester. Read on to find out how to have your work exhibited!
So what do we want from you? Your photos! We want the LomoWall to reflect the area in which it sits; think water, think mills, think bridges, think ducks. Whether you’ve already got a back catalogue of appropriate images, or want to take the opportunity to go out and shoot some fresh ones, now’s your chance to be involved. The LomoWall is going to be a semi-permanent feature in the Northern Quarter’s landscape so now’s your chance to have your photo on display for the world to see!
To enter simply login or create your own Lomohome, upload your photos and they’ll appear here to submit!
Sign up to our newsletter here to find out about the workshops taking place at Lomography Gallery Store Manchester. Photos from these can also be submitted for the wall.
Rules:
- Please bear in mind our water theme
- Shots must have been taken around Manchester, UK and the surrounding areas
- Not all photos submitted will be selected for the final exhibition, and we won’t be able to confirm which shots were used until the LomoWall is built by our expert LomoWall designers.
Enjoy getting wet, wet, wet! Quack!

I've been seeing some of the photos: is it me or no one read the "◦Shots must have been taken around Manchester, UK and the surrounding areas" rule?

Technically California is near Manchester.... I mean, if you think about how giant the universe is, the two are relatively close.....
In conclusion, sorry for not reading the rules :P
