well, not only that this friend of mine looks like he is praying, dreaming or hard-thinking there is a special story behind it. this is only one shot out of many many very different ones. he chose this one saying: "yes, that is me!" - or maybe how i like to see myself! and still today he is dreaming about living his way of life what until today did not work. i mean he is surely satisfied with what he has achieved and i look up at him sometimes and then i´m happy he found his profession. but he is still lacking the courage to just live the way he wants. some of the shots we made showed pretty much his desires and he wanted it to be fixed on the pictures but then he sorted them out and didn´t show them anyone else. so that´s what dreaming looks like: happiness and failure, satisfaction and pursuit. today i think that why there is not only light but a dark shadow on this one.
