For the LomoKino lovers, film enthusiasts, and the curious, here's a great rumble for you! Lomography teams up with the Newport Beach Film Festival and invites you to make your own LomoKino film, with the best ones getting featured at the NBFF plus more exciting prizes! Read on for more details.

We’re partnering with the Newport Beach Film Festival, and though this is an international contest, we also encourage residents in Orange County/Los Angeles/San Diego/San Francisco to submit their best California-inspired LomoKino films. Think of the beach, sand, ocean, palm trees, and anything related to the laid back California lifestyle. And in honor of the festival, anything related to Newport Beach, movies, and theaters are bonuses!

We’re also holding two days of free workshops at the Orange County Museum of Art on April 28 and April 29, 2012 as part of the partnership, check back on the events section for more information.

How to submit?
Go ahead, take your time, make your movie, then upload it to vimeo or youtube accounts, connect your home, and post the link as a comment in this article and you’re entered to win!
