The Cultural Association Film Caravan was born in Imperia, during the summer of 2008, with the intent to create a film festival in the streets of the most enchanting villages of the Ligurian Riviera. They realized these spots were potential sites for film frames. Inspired by the traveling circus and traditions, they created this caravan, which for three years now, has conquered its audience during the first week of August, giving them an appointment in a different place every night.
The 4th edition of the international traveling festival of short films Film Caravan will take place between July 31st and August 4th, 2012 in the squares of the most beautiful cities in the province of Imperia. All projections will be held outdoors, in a different place every night.
This time, the festival will dedicate a whole section to the projection of movies made with the LomoKino. From this Competition, we will select twenty films that will be screened during the last evening of the festival.
How to participate
Upload your Lomokino video on Vimeo. It must last at least one minute and a maximum of five – strictly without sound. Please link it as a comment under this post.
Awards
The winner, that will be selected among the 20 that will arrive in the final, will receive a La Sardina, a package of films, a beautifull bag and a wonderful diary to write down all your ideas for the next screenplays.

Why does it need to be without sound? Can't they just mute it? I just want to know, because if i MUST then I'll just upload another version of my lomokino movies without sound on vimeo just for the competition, but if I don't HAVE to then it would be easier...

@reneg88 I'm sorry but we need the movie without sound 'cause at the end the 20 selected movies will be projected in sequence under a unique song.. so please if u can, upload it without sound! Thanks :)

WOW! yes, this is a beautiful challenge! great idea!! No sound, but, are allowed post-pro or editing the material? Or it has to be straight the result scanned from the film?
