Verderamemag is a digital magazine dedicated to contemporary culture: design, interior, food, photography, art reports, and in-depth columns aimed at telling stories made of images and words. This mag was born from the creative encounter between photographer Sara Gentile, and set designer Irene Baratto, one of the founders of studioverderame, and it gathers a team of young pros who run all of the magazine's contents all by themselves.
Lomography decided a setpiece meeting with Verderamemag to feel, well, actually to smell what they had in mind. We came up with a wonderful Competition in which your “nose” will be the protagonist.
A smell can be so many different things. Here’s how the dictionary describes it: “olfactory feeling produced by tiny particles sent out by some bodies”, “clue, feeling”.
And you? What’s your idea of a smell? What are the most important smells, those that can awake the most intimate of your emotions, those that can make you happy? Those that disgust you and those you would smell forever?
Make your own “smell diary of an average day” : the smell of your first coffeein the morning, the smell of your clean laundry, the air of your city, the sea breeze, your boyfriend/girlfriend’s skin’s smell, your son’s kiss. Take us to the smells which are important to you and put them into pictures.

- Film/Camera Type: Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated.
- Upload limit: 5 photos.
- Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height.
- All meta data must be filled (camera, film, location & 3 tags).
