Lomography x Concrete Hermit Rumble ended over 2 years ago

Concrete Hermit is a brilliant London based Arts company, who work together with a whole host of creative talent to create amazing works of Art across a range of formats. We've teamed up with them to give you the chance to win a limited edition artwork!

Since starting out online in 2004 Concrete Hermit has been championing various creative endeavors across many fields. Chris Knight, the companys founder has worked together with a host of creative talent to publish books, design clothing and produce prints and artwork. In 2007 Concrete Hermit opened a studio/ shop/ exhibition space in East London that has hosted an exciting roster of exhibitions and projects as well as providing an outlet to represent the work of both established and emerging artists and designers. Chris told us “We’re always keen to try and work with people who really love what they do, people who understand where they are coming from and who can approach any project, whatever it is with passion and integrity”

So, if you didn’t know about these guys already, you should! With such a huge amount of amazing creative talent within the Lomography community, we felt they were a perfect match for a photo rumble. Chris will pick the winning shots, so please submit your photos inspired by the theme of concrete – it could be an urban cityscape, a skate park, a building site, find the beauty in the urban jungle, and show us what you saw!

The Prizes

First prize
The first prize winner will get this limited edition print by Markus Oakley – it is a two colour screen print of an animal folk band and there are only 30 of them in existence

They will also win a set of each of Concrete Hermit’s postcard books – 22 page books of illustrated postcards by artists including Cody Hudson, Koichiro Takagi and Ian Stevenson.

And of course no prize would be complete without piggy points! So the first prize winner will also get 15 piggy points to spend in the Lomography Online Shop!

Question: Is this competition for colored photographs only? The rules say "- Please submit a colorful ANALOGUE photograph featuring concrete!", and he sample photo is B&W. Can we submit both types? Thanks! :)

I have the same question as @tallgrrlrocks. B&W or does it have to be color?

Concrete is one of the most fascinating materials ever invented by man. I'm excited to contribute to this rumble and stalk all the other entries.
