How does that go again? Three Lomographers trained well with the lessons from Phototuts+ which propels them to victory!

We at Lomography and our partners Phototuts+ firmly believe that everyday, there is an opportunity to learn. From the academe, street smarts, and to camera know-how courtesy of Phototuts+, there’s always a chance to gain additional insight. That was the challenge we posed for the Try That Tutorial Competition and three Lomographers shone the brightest. Here they are!

@cruzron I think that is pretty shite to be honest. If someone has made 10 entries, and 2 of theirs are chosen above all others, why can't they be placed in 1st and 3rd if those 2 submissions are deemed better than everyone elses? Nothing in the competition brief states this so if I was @natalieerachel I would be pretty upset about this. Sorry lomo.

@natalieerachel I think that is very gracious and lovely of you and I figured since it was someone nice like that then it wouldn't be a problem, so in this case LSI got lucky. I just think LSI are on dodgy ground if they don't state that at the beginning of a competition. If you buy 10 raffle tickets and 2 of your numbers came out then you'd get 2 prizes and I don't see why this should be any different.

@kneehigh85 Aw thank you! Yeah, I would think it would be unfair if someone else won twice in one competition. It should be a rule that you can't win twice. Is there any rule about entering a winning photo into a different competition? I have the feeling that the photo wouldn't be chosen to win others though...
