Films & Droplets : The Monsoon Rumble ended about 3 years ago

Cloudy skies, shimmering lights on the roads and wet umbrellas. Its monsoons and we're celebrating it here on Lomography. Its the Film & Droplets Rumble

Rains have a special feel to them. They make everything animated. The leaves move with raindrops, the roads shine and the ground seems to have its own fragrance. When its all over, little insects fly around lights like a dream coming to life. And we want to see that through your Lomography Camera.

Send us your best 5 shots of the monsoons and we’ll give you Piggies and more Piggies! The top 5 photos will each receive 10 piggies. The deadline is short! This Rumble ends on July 30th, 2011. Now go out there in the rain and shoot!!

  • Prize(s): Top 5 winners to get 10 Piggies each
  • Film/Camera Type: Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated. Please keep in mind of our ’school’s out’ photo theme.
  • Upload Limit: 5 photos
  • Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 800px in either width or height.
  • Meta data must be completed (camera, film, location & 3 tags)
