For a long-long time, São Paulo has been swinging with wild Lomographic activity fuelled by one of our most dedicated communities. This did not go unrecognised. Lomographers of São Paulo, this announcement goes out to you!

Lomography Gallery Store São Paulo will open its’ doors to welcome every single one of you in the very near future! And while we are working hard on the set up of the store, the centrepiece of which will of course be the most magnificent Lomowall, we would like to ask you to to take part and submit your photographs! Because the wall will be composed of your – yes your! – lomographs!

Paulistas and Paulistanos, Gringos and Tourists: mobilize! Send us your pictures that document life and leisure, architecture and chaos, food, love, dogs and trees – whatever it is that makes São Paulo São Paulo! Now is the time to get into that creative mood. Search your lomographic archives! But beware: don’t just send us pictures of the MASP, batucada and the Copan building. Explore the city with the mind of a lomographic scientist: shoot the metropolis in all its’ lush colors! Document everything it has to offer and submit your photographic evidence to us.

Every Lomographer who has photos chosen for the lomowall will get 5 piggie points credited to their account!

Like any call for submission, Lomography asks for just a few things:


• Sort through your photos and pick the best ones thoroughly and thoughtfully. 

• Film/Camera Type: any kind of film / analogue camera can be used but standard 35mm or 120 format are preferred. (nothing should be digitally enhanced or manipulated.)

• Minimum Photo Dimensions: submissions must be at least 1220px in either width or height, larger dimensions are welcome 

• No visible borders or watermarks, etc.
