Let the fireworks show begin! Lomography wants you to show us those spectacular light displays! Those sparkles! The sounds of the fireworks exploding in the sky!
The Fourth of July celebrates the birth of the United States. In celebration of July 4th, Americans have had a tradition of having a spectacular fireworks display. Originally used in China to scare away those evil spirits, fireworks have been used to celebrate special occasions across the world. From Sydney to Paris to Chile to Japan. Fireworks have been enlightening the dark sky for centuries.
Now let’s get this rumble started. Show us the most breathtaking Fireworks photos you have! The top 5 photos will each receive 5 piggies. The deadline is short! This Rumble ends on July 15th, 2011. Now set your camera to the “B” setting and let those fireworks explode!
There are a few conditions before submitting your photos:
- You can only submit 5 images (so pick your best!)
- All photos must be taken with an analogue camera (no Photoshop)!
- Remember to submit your photos no later than July 15th!
