This year, the Fringe Festival Athens will have another highlight: a house full of analogue fun! Nearly 50m² of LomoWall will welcome the visitors there and unite Lomographs from around the world. Show us your smiles and win piggies!
From 20-26th of June the hot-spots of Athens will turn into artistic places, it’s time for Fringe Festival! Right in the middle of it- at the Technopolis area – a whole house will be dedicated to Lomography. Vistors will be able to attend workshops, a scavenger hunt, watch movies and so on. But the main attraction will be of course be a beautilful, big LomoWall. The artworks of this years’ festival evolve around the topic “smile in the mind” and so does the LomoWall.
We know you love to laugh, so show us your smiles and what makes you happy so we can unite it in a LomoWall at the festival in Athens! Forget about fake smiles – we want the real ones! Be creative: lightpaint a smiley, make your teacher laugh, shoot the joyful leaps of your dog or even people crying at a wedding. We will pick the best photos from all over the world to form a 50m² LomoWall that will be exhibited throughout the whole festival.
Rumble Details
- Prize(s): 5 Piggies for everyone whose picture(s) are chosen for the LomoWall. Piggies will be awarded at the end of the Rumble.
- Film/Camera Type: Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated, standard 35mm format preferred. Please keep in mind of our smile theme.
- Upload Limit: 10 photos
- Minimum Photo Dimensions: submissions must be at least 1220px in either width or height, larger dimensions are welcome
- Meta data must be completed (camera, film, location & 3 tags)
- By submitting your photos to this rumble, you allow Lomography to use your submitted photos for promotional purposes
