Lomography and POSTRmagazine present:Will Snap For Stuff Winner Announcement

The cool judges over at POSTRmagazine have finished poring over the submissions in our collaborative Will Snap For Stuff contest. Theirs were an unenviable job as the judging process must have been difficult! But they've made their choices and here are the winners!

Can your photo speak a thousand words? That was the challenge brought about by us at Lomography and POSTRmagazine who both have an affinity for the arts. We wanted to see this collective passion for everything aesthetic through photos so our team-up led us to the Will Snap for Stuff competition and here are the winners as selected by the POSTRmagazine crew:

1. Tine Guns

“Art is Time”
We liked these pictures because they both symbolize time so well. The picture Tine took immediatly spoke to us, we all know that moment and to capture it like this is amazing.

2. Lawrence Chiam

“Reach … for Art”
Lawrence’s pictures are really good and we think he’s a Lomography expert. The subject and what he wants to say with the pictures comes across really well. Lawrence sent in 2 sets of pictures. His second set was even better in our opinion but we judged him on his first set to keep the competition fair.

3. Marika Giacinta

Marika’s pictures are well chosen. We get a sence of what art is to her but not in an obvious way. The pictures are fun and colourful, they popped right out of our mailbox.

Honourable mentions go to:

Erick Cusi, Nadia Oussehmine and Tini Cleemput.

You can check out their winner announcement over at POSTRmagazine Thank you again for this collaboration!

So yet again another published photograph I did not get a photo credit for. Here is my photograph of Harrod Blank Photo Van . Why are some people getting photo credits and others not? I have a number of really good shots you use and do not receive photo credit for. I have asked about this in the past with out getting an answer. It is just good business practice to give credit where credit is due .
