Let's open Rumble Week 2010 with a bang! Recently acquired a new camera? It's expected that the first shots that you'll be taking is of yourself! Lomography neophytes, show off your self-portraits and get the chance to get yourself some Piggies to welcome you!
Shake off your shyness because it’s your time to shine, Lomography newbies! If you haven’t joined any of our exciting rumbles, maybe we can help to start you off with this one. We’re sure you’re very familiar with our theme – self-portraits! Whether it’s a shot of your mirror reflection, or your arm outstretched as you aim your camera at yourself, your pictures are eligible for this rumble!
Again, this rumble is entirely for new Lomographers registered here on the site for 6 months and younger! If you’re not sure how long your stay here is so far, just submit your entries as we can verify this during the shortlisting phase. It’s your time to shine as our community regulars will welcome you with open arms.
It’s also a great way to see all the new faces that will be gracing the Lomography Magazine sooner or later! Enjoy shooting and good luck!
Details
- Film/Camera Type: Any analogue camera photo not digitally manipulated/enhanced. Please keep in mind of our newbie restriction.
- Prize: Winners get 10 Piggies each
- Upload limit: 1 photo – at least 768px in either width or height
- Don’t forget to fill in the meta data! (camera, film, location & 3 tags!)
For this challenge, our resident veteran Lomographers mephisto19 and cyan-shine will sift through your entries and possibly some good feedback on those self-snaps! Good luck!
