It’s big. It’s bad and it produces some pretty awesome pictures! Our Camera Review of the Week is the lovely Kiev 6C brought to us by smclemon who gamely shares with us the history and inner workings of this fine specimen. Like most cameras from the FSU, the Kiev is a copy of another camera during its time, namely the Pentacon. It sports a nifty 2.8 lens which mixed with medium format film, completely melts the background away, giving you sweet, sweet bokeh! If you want to know more about the camera, check out the review. Here’s to smcleon for introducing us to this gem!
Do you have what it takes to be next week’s featured shooter? Then submit you camera review but if the film you want to feature isn’t on the list please let us know.
