Summertime – time for a BBQ! Some survey found out that Germans love to do barbecues. Who would have thought that! Just a guess: you all can’t wait until it’s warm enough to kindle the BBQ grill.
At the park, on your balkony, at the beach or at a party. It doesn’t matter where you have your BBQ. It’s part of the summer.

Your cameras love to be outside in summer too. They love to see the blue sky and feel the warm sunbeams – just like the people that sit in front of a BBQ having some spare ribs, chops of meat and bratwurst. So take your camera with you to a barbecue to capture the real summer.

We want to see your best BBQs, the best meals, salads, steaks, and BBQ mishaps. (but don’t play with fire!). Who will be Grillmeister 2009 and gets a place in our Barbecue Gallery?

How to become Lomography Grillmeister:

• Film/Camera Type: Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated
• Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height.
