Stained Glass Pictures with the Supersampler by dogma

Well boys and girls here is a nice tip on how to put a nice stained glass effect pictures with your multi lens queen, the Supersampler. For this trick you will need to sacrifice some of your Lomographic stuff, but I can promise that you will love the result!

So for this trick you will need a scissor, duct tape or super glue, 4 different Colorsplash Flash gel filters and of course your Supersampler! First off, you need to use to cut about 9.25mmx24mm dimensions from the filters of the colorsplash. Then use super glue to connect all four filters together. Don’t smear the glue between the filters too much and also be careful and try not to spill it all over it or else it will create that fuzzy effect between each frame of your Supersampler pics. Finally use a duct tape to attach your mask to inside the camera and you’re done!

What’s left for you to do is load your film and run outside and shoot-shoot-shoot-shoot! Just don’t forget, because of colour filters you need more light for exposure than the usual, so use a higher ISO film and shoot in a bright sun.

Good luck!

Okay, so I guess we ALL have to check with myvitaminx before posting a tip to see if he's already done it or not. Hey, I was thinking of submitting a tip about converting a Holga to a zone plate camera. Is that alright with you, myvitaminx, or have you already done that, too?

Well done. I like the fuzzy edges from the glue. I might even go so far as to run a bead of glue around the outside edges, also.
