For the Stage Two of the Great Lomo LC-A Race, we want to see that special souvenir item that represents your town/city! Head over to the local souvenir shop and take a picture of that unique keepsake - one that's sure to remind visitors of your town's extraordinary charm!
A souvenir item is more than just a keepsake – it symbolizes something unique and special that can only come from YOUR place! May it be a keychain, a small ornament, or anything that represents your town, we want to see it! The winning photo will be rewarded with 50 Piggy Points to be distributed evenly to all your team members (5 Piggy Points each). Quick, make a trip to the souvenir stall and snap up that special memorabilia!

- Film/Camera Type: Only shots taken with the supplied race Lomo LC-A unit during the time period of July 22, 2009 – August 5, 2009 – Participants should turn over cameras to the next participant by August 5, 2009 but submissions for the first mission are allowed until August 12, 2009. Only participants of the Lomo LC-A Race are allowed to submit in this rumble.
- Remember to turn on your GPS unit while shooting!

- Upload Limit: 10 photos
- Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height.
- Tags must be completed with the following details for eligibility: Team name (ex. North America Team 1) and the mission stage tags: souvenir and lomo lc-a race mission and memorabilia

Just saw that the GPS software is only for PC.... how do we manage it if we got only a Mac....?

So, starting tomorrow, as soon as we get the camera, we can use it? And then by August 5th we need to have it postmarked and in the mail? Even if we don't get it tomorrow, but 5 days from now? And then, all our stuff needs to be submitted by the 12th? Just clarifying...there have been so many rule changes that I want to make sure I'm understanding all of them.

I'm a little confused as strangelilgirl. so the week 1 just ended today, and week 2 is starting tomorrow? so that means the longer it takes for the post office to deliver the camera, the less time we are going to have, correct? that's gonna interfere a lot with my plan:( and doesn't seem to be very fair....

@sugiyamasatomi: we're still following the current 2-week rule, 1 extra week for uploading/sending locations as of this writing. we are still discussing internally on whether we could still extend the date. sorry about that!
@everyone on a mac: for the meantime, would it be possible to upload the GPS data via a friend's laptop or café PC? we apologize that we didn't see this issue coming up earlier.

with regard to PC - i have no PC friends, and the local library and internet cafe won't let me install the software. Hopefully the next person can pass on my GPS info (as well as callums as he didnt remove his and he has a PC!)

For people with a Mac, if you have Parallels you can run windows on mac and it works fine to transfer the data.
