Does anyone know how to check/change DPI?

Jones doesn't mind if it's done like this: http://www.jonessoda(…).php#resize

Good Idea

can you submit photos more than once (of course with the limit total of 10)? I've one that I'd like to submit now, and some others that might turn out well when I get them developed.
alexandrak
@girlkasia of course! You can submit to this week's theme anytime while it's open!
girlkasia
@alexandrak : thanks! just didn't know...
but I also just noticed that my picture isn't quite big enough...short by only 49px. crap :(
mephisto19
was the 1800pxl minimum there from the beginning? hmm.... i have all submissions in higher resolution, too!
ouroborosx
i don't believe that pixel size is accurate, but please let alexandra confirm... we're not in the office today, so she'll let you know on Monday... i'm pretty sure the pixel limit is much much smaller for this, and basic lomography upload sizes from the old site are fine.

what things make me pop?

To submit a photo, just go to your home and search trough your albums for the photo's you would like to submit for a contest. In the lower right corner you can select the desired contest and submit the photo. That's how I did it.
alexandrak
@rudie1110 submissions each week!
alexandrak
@mephisto19 it's really only got to be 300dpi. I will change it back. :)

Hello @widyayuniarti Go to your "unsorted" folder and move them to an album! there's a great lab tutorial here: http://www.lomograph(…)upload-tool

quick question: for entries, can we photo shop our film images to enter them?

Ohhhh and also, when do we find out the winners/runners up, and also, will they be notified?
merge
Hmmm, 1600px for the contest, but when I upload through Lab, it is resizing images back down to 768px - how does that work? Am I missing something? Is all good?

So, we give Jones Soda rights to our photos even if we don't win? I'm not keen on that!
Not a lot of things make me 'pop' anyway, haha! :D

alexandrak
@merge as long as you upload the correct size, it is okay!
alexandrak
@girlkasia Jones Soda is your Jury! They will announce the first weeks' winners first!

I thought that I uploaded all my pictures at same dimensions and quality but some of my entry's don't meet the desired size,I can get them at a higher resolution/dpi though
alexandrak
@stijn_b if your photo wins, and It's not the right size, we can work around that!
anabananaangel
There are nearly 700 entries this is going to be HARD> good luck everyone

mmmm, 6hours left, 3 in the morning, and I can't upload pictures:( should I submit what I have in the lab already? but they are most likely smaller than the size they needed to be:(
sugiyamasatomi
well, it's past 4am, and I tried for a few hours, but still couldn't upload images to the website, so I just picked images from my lab, which include some images that are smaller than the size they needed to be:( hope they'll be nice about it:D
larslau
If my pictures aren't uploaded in 300 dpi or 1600, can't I just enter them and then send the high resolution shots if I win?
alexandrak
We prefer that all images are submitted with the required dpi or image size.
orletg
alexandrak
@orletg submit by going to the image in your Lomohome!

i submitted my photo of ducks that i took with my oktomat(the 3rd or 4th entry?), but it was loaded twice into my album by accident without me realizing and i entered the incorrect copy. since then i have deleted the extra copy and entered the same photo again, this time the correct photo, about half way through the contest with the correct meta data, comments, likes, etc. i just didnt want the incorrect photo to be viewed and discarded due to it having been filled out incorrectly or it not being there because i deleted that copy. the correct one is still entered, sorry for the trouble...
