Wow, I won!
This was an unusual wedding.... in fact it wasn't technicaly a wedding at all, more a renewing of vows (which incidentally were all delivered in rhyme, like a dr. seuss book). My Cousin and his wife are both artists and she tends to use the medium of knitting.... so this was a knitted wedding, and i mean literally knitted... the bride wore a knitted dress, and the grooms rather jaunty top hat was of course knitted, along with lots of scarves which must have been a bit hot in July. On exiting the chapel after the service (conducted by a vicar with a knitted dog collar) they were bombarded with knitted confetti and posed happily as photographers with knitted cameras took thier picture (I'm not making this up)... after this excitement guests were invited to mingle over knitted cakes and sandwiches and (thankfully real) champagne.
One of the more unusual weddings I have been to... but great fun none the less, and a perfect opportunity to whip out the horizon.
