A question: is the limit of submissions of 12 per "couple" involving the 2 names OR can... euhh... how to explain it...? let's say "A" made doubles with "B", and "B" made doubles with "C", can "A" submit 12 shots made with "B" and "C" the 12 shots made with "B"... or is it limitative to 12 shots for one couple, whoever submits them and then "basta" for "A & B" couple and the 3rd one ("C") must find another partner to submit the shots of this collaboration...????
Really don't know if my question is clear.....??????

i am really surprised about the quality of the submissions. to take such pics with your lubitel without thinking you must be some kind of magicians! ;-)

@agrimony: shoot from the hip with Lubitel doesn't mean that your shots need to be blurry or not "framed"...
Setting the aperture to minimum f:8/f:11 with a focus on 5m guarantees you to have almost all you can shoot sharp (because of the great depth of field) and then, with your Lubitel around the neck (bringing your camera almost on the Hip level and with a straight frame as it's in a good stable position) you just need to click without thinking.... and capture the right moment in a few seconds without "preparing" your shot. I think that is the "shoot from the hip spirit (and you can't hold your Lubitel in the same way as your LCA for that...) All my submissions (even if 9 of them can't be seen in the gallery..... :((( are in this "shoot from the hip" spirit, in the sense that it only took me 2-3 seconds to decide to "click" (with every setting prepared as said above) and see the result afterwards. If you think about your shot, you already lost that precious second that makes your shot! :)))

@LSI: I'd really like to see all the submissions to this rumble... sorry to insist, but I'm a bit frustrated to see only 16 of the 36 submissions (until yet)..... :(

@vicuna: shooting with a lubitel always means to shoot from the hip. i just wonder about the don't think rule. your explanation is a positive proof for the fact that it is almost impossible to shoot without thinking with a lubitel and getting fantastic pictures. don't you think? :D
    but thanks. :-)

all depends of what you call "thinking" while shooting.. If it's to have always in mind to take a good shot and have your eyes open and observe everything that surrounds you, yes in this case it's impossible to shoot without thinking.... if it's "without thinking" by clicking like crazy in all situations without caring of what you make, I think you can do it easily with LCA and have some cool results, but Lubitel isn't a cam like that and can't be used like an LCA.....

for me "don't think" means that you take your camera and shoot. you don't have to think about any settings or the motif or whatever. in my opinion this "rule" is only possible for action-, super-, and any other sampler. ok, it is possible with every camera but the results wouldn't be that good, i guess. not even with an lc-a.

Is this for the new Lubitel+ only or are all Lubitels allowed? I'm seeing shots by other Lubitels, but want to know if it is allowed before submitting.

What's with nobody submitting to this extended rumble. 24 hour rumbles get hundreds of submissions and this one has 64. Weird.
