call me cynical, but I have doubts about that 2nd image... that user has no other pix on the Lomohomes... are you sure thats an analog camera image....?

Not to be rude or anything, but I'm quite sure that #1 is digital, and I'm not even sure that #2 is a photograph -- much less an analogue.

But I'm probably wrong -- in that case #2 is a really amazing capture!

@everyone: we will look into these - for the meantime please refer to http://beta.lomograp(…)-rumble-faq regarding authenticity of entries.

we're giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. have a great day!

I don't know about this digital debate because i don't have a digital however I do have analog pictures that pretty much look exactly like all three, I have done crap like 2 and 3 with my LCA and 1 with my holga black corner... but i am not expert, i think they are cool and that they are entirely possible with the diana

also why in the world did i not enter this contest? what was i thinking? how did i miss it? oh well

Just saying, all of spendospend's albums on his lomo home are done with a fisheye, and he's only an expert with the fisheye and action sampler, a little less relevant.

Wow! Thanks for the award! I just would like to say that this picture comes from the very first 35 mm roll I put in my lubitel...

Dear Lomo people - terribly sorry but yes indeed that photo (#2) was shot on a digital camera... I did not read the guidelines carefully and thought the contest was for lightpainting only and not specific to film cameras. (I'm not a lomography.com regular). This image however is not manipulated or enhanced and would have looked the same on film or digital...but of course that is beside the point. My apologies - I will surely read the guidelines more carefully next time.

@brandonmichael: yes that's coming up. we're still waiting for a verification before we take further action.

due to this incident, we have revised our FAQ dated 01/06/09 for everyone's reference:

hey spendospend, i think it would be good if you can share with the fellow lomographers here some tricks on how to capture that effect.

    great stuff. congrats! :)

it was basicly a trial and error approach, real dark in a tent, shutter release cable, and ringflashes, phones, torches etc, and just went abit mad, we took about 4-5 rolls and only about 10 shots were really worth keeping,
i wish i could be more specific bout the iso of films etc, but it was a while ago and we were very wrecked that nite as im sure u can tell lol :)

    thanks every1
