Happy New Year and Happy Anniversary to the LCA!
Why party hard when you can lay in bed and play a nice lomo quiz :) -
For the pic above I agree with Kyle, a double (multiple) exposure. I´m also just back from shooting fireworks....hope they are getting nice.

double exposure. Flash for the man (colorsplash probably) and long exposure for the firework. Beautiful picture.

The shot is a double exposure (using the MX button), one shot of fireworks in the sky and the other shot is of the guy using a flash. Nice shot ;)

for all who call it a new solar year from that date on : may your new year be sunny and full of love health and forgiveness!!!
then for the pic above;
double exposed- fireworks on nightmode(longexposure) doubled with a shot in which the flash is used extern to the cam (slightly from rightbottom) and not an frontal firing.
...although the dots are intriguing the longexposure theorie a lot...hmm..
from that kind of sparkle it could also be a shorttime exposure of those magic candlesticks you know view from above(they only burn for about a minute or so)
...what the eagleyed guesses
