Have you ever walked down a dark ally with your beloved LC-A in hand? Have you ever seen vandalized buildings and couldn’t help but to admire that urban art cover the walls? Or have you ever seen somebody putting up “illegal art” and you just couldn’t help but to “splash” some colour over them?
Share this rawness from the streets with us! In this collaboration with DROME magazine, a cosmopolitan Italian quarterly that deals with the contemporary world of art and culture, we are looking for your best images of stencils, posters, stickers, graffiti or any other form or “illegal expression” that you can find on the streets, in the ghetto, or in the projects.
Details:
- 3 pictures upload limit
- Any analogue camera allowed
- Everyone that uploads 3 relevant images will receive 5 piggies at the end of the competition (Feb. 20th 2009)
- DROME magazine magazine will choose 2 grand champions and feature their photos in the upcoming issue.
- In exchange for reproduction rights of the 2 winning shoots, the 2 grand champions will be given a Staple colorsplash camera, 2 copies of the magazine in which the images appear plus a yearly subscription to Drome magazine.
Good luck, and may the toughest photo win!
Note: Lomography does not encourage any illegal activities and urges you to abide to local laws. We simply love street art!
