Winter is back in the Big Apple. From the black snow mountains on every corner, to the hordes of shoppers barrelling down 5th Avenue like bulls in Pamplona, to the taxis speeding through red lights faster than Rudolf on Sicilian espresso, there is nothing like the urban wonderland of a New York City winter.

This season, we’re teaming up with our friends at the MoMA for a project so cool it will make a snowman reach for a sweater! We’re building 10 LomoWalls at MoMA locations around New York City, and this is your chance to have your best NYC Winter Lomographs appear at the most prestigious modern art locations south of the North Pole!

Here are some examples of what we’re looking for:

Architecture, Street Art, Fashion, Bridges, Bars, Store fronts, Holiday lights and store windows, Faces, Police and Firemen, Churches, temples, & mosques…, Taxis, buses, and other traffic jammers, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Harlem, Coney Island, Brighton Beach, and every corner of this sprawling city! Freaks, geeks and clowns, Alligators in the subways, elephants coming through the midtown tunnel, black squirrels and other animals,…And everything else that makes New York NEW YORK!

And please do not forget to tag all the pix extensively so we can make things match at the LomoWalls.

We need your photos to be at least 1200×1800 pixels for 35mm shots, or 1500×1500 for square format. Save the decorations for the tree though, because we want to see the real photo, so no fancy Photoshop tricks please!

• Deadline for entries is Wednesday December 3rd, so don’t delay!
• For your participation 5 piggy points will come your way if we include at least one picture taken by you. Winners are set to be announced in the middle of December!
• No upload limit
