i know i'm an old seadog on lomo, and i may appear oldish, but i'm a bit sad of this marketting forcing around the Diana ( even if i'm sure i'll buy one) ...... because during this time, my good old Holga ( and all the shots I've made with) feels a bit abandoned in all these rumbles .... isn't it ?

I still remember the disapointment with the first two rolls and the wonder I've felt when the first good results are coming out from this incredible camera, now that I've mounted the 35mm back I need one other Diana+ for the 120mm :)

It is frustrating to me that the judges here have even said that if they have already seen a particular picture before, it doesn't have as good a chance at winning. So it is very possible for a picture that is much better to be overlooked because there are others the judges haven't seen. I REALLY want to enter this, but I am waiting to here about the Colette book competition, which means a lot to me, so I don't want to lessen my chances for either one of them by submitting some of the same pictures. It is very expensive to keep up a medium format film habit, after all, and I don't exactly have hundreds...

i'm pretty sure in this competition that it won't matter if the shots have been seen before... this is all about just whoever submits the best photos... we want the first people who become "amigos" for these cameras to be outstanding lomographers who really know how to get the most out of these cameras... so just submit your best shots, and keep your chin up and your pockets full of film! ;)
