Round-the-Clock Rumble: Cable Release: Night/Long Exposures Edition ended about 1 year ago
written by kazarareta on October 17th, 2008 , 72 submissions , 48 comments (0 votes)

We’re on a cable release frenzy as of late, and for the weekend we’re leaving you off with yet another rumble! This time, it’s another special function you could do with a cable release – long exposures! Pair you camera with your release and a tripod and you’re all set!

We’re looking for the best one-shot long exposures using a cable release (we’re counting on your honesty for this). Whether it be lightstreaks or a pristine nightscape, send it over!

Cheers to a great weekend!

Cable release and the poor man's tripod: sitting on the ground propped up with a couple of bricks (the camera that is, not me!)

I'm really hoping these cable release competitions are some sort of announcement for a new (please be really long) cable release.

it looks like underwater coral or something but it is a cable release LCA hooked onto a tree branch... oh the fun thing too is we have no yellow flash, it was just some yellowy light on like a 4 minute exposure, for fun

The fisheye shots could have been done with an LCA and a fisheye lens attachment.

    @ everybody

sorry that some people were allowed to upload more than one picture, we will only consider the first entries from each user. The reason that they could do it id due to a computer error. Once again, sorry!
