Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

one comment, 1 submission, and 1 voteGolden Gate Park is a large rectangular park located in San Francisco. The park is modeled after Central Park in New York and Lincoln Park in Chicago. The area offers lakes, gardens, museums, and an indoor greenhouse containing rare flora and fauna. It is an excellent place for locals and visitors alike to spend the day and get away from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco proper.

one comment and 1 voteEverybody know how much diversity is there in San Francisco. There are many groups of people, many cultures and ways of thinking. The towns population in formed by many nationalities and Mission St. is where you can mostly get in touch with Mexican culture. You don't really need to talk to the people around to absorb the way they think or live.

Rave Festival (San Francisco)

by montw
posted about 1 year agoThis is not such a nice festival for a kid to go but for me, I won't miss it if I have a chance to attend one of them. Dj, trance music, rave, light show, argon laser beam, visual - all of these elements is what I love about raves. SF is one of the cities that has a best rave event to attend.

1 voteAlcatraz is a small island across from the city of San Francisco. It used to be a place for the criminals who had committed a very serious crime, such as Al Capone. Now this place has become a tourist spot. It is very cold there and it's really even not far from the city, but this place makes you feel a bit creepy and lonely at the same time. This place is pretty old but they are doing a very great job to preserve a lot of old buildings and old facilities. It's like a museum where you can walk around and explore on your own. The museum provides the tourists with all the information one could need and also with information assistant if necessary. For example, the assistant narrates about this place and also guides you around where to go. There is a very well done graphic map that keeps you from getting lost. Is it a fun place to go? No, I think this place would be more educational and adventurous. When I got out of this place I felt that, I will never do anything wrong and end up in the prison like
