    AH, Roma the eternal city! Always one of the most visited cities in Europe. What's not to like? The gorgeous cobbled streets, the ancient architecture, the history, the Italian culture, the food, wines, gelato! Best thing to do is to throw away your tourist guide, and hop on the metro or buses and discover the city on foot.

    If you are in Rome, Italy as a tourist, you shouldn't definitely miss visiting this enormous architectural monument built about 1920 years ago by the Emperor Vespasian. He started building it between 70 and 76 AD, but it was completed by his son Titus in 80 AD. The Colosseum was dedicated to the year of Vespasian's death by him. The opening celebrations lasted for 100 days presenting many games.
