20 comments and 12 votes"If everybody had an ocean/Across the U. S. A./Then everybody'd be surfin'/Like Californi-a" Well, when the Beach Boys sang this "Surfin' USA" 1963, they surely didn't think that it would be possible to surf in Munich, hundreds and hundreds km far away from the sea (and more from California of course...)

2 comments and 3 votesActually this location is an accident! Because normally I was traveling for business to Thessaoniki / Greece but due to all the meetings it turns out I didn't had any time to take pics in Greece. I was already frustrated about, so that I shoot the film while I had to wait in Munich Airport for the transfer flight.

1 voteMostly when I go on a journey by airplane I use to start at Munich Airport. It is the nearest airport to the place where I live and the one with the best directions. Near these convenient things it is an airport with a fantastic design where your waiting time spins away by watching the great architecture, in comfortable cafes or in the several kinds of shops you can find there.

Munich Underground

posted about 1 year agoWhen you smile, they smile back (or are totally confused!). I also love the atmosphere: hurrying people, stress, beggars and musicians, crazy people and normal people, the looks in the tunnels, speed, very seldom slowness, quietness. You'll find people who met their fate, crying, hopeless. But also the beginning of love, old couples holding their hands. Nothing is so openminded, so apparent than the people in the public transportation system. And I have a wish for a long-lasting party in the tunnels, together will friends and my Lomo...
