Calvary Cemetery, established in 1896, may take you away from the lights and sights of Hollywood, but many famous stars are buried here. It's a little-known and beautiful place to visit in East L.A.

This is the oldest cemetery in Los Angeles and it is hidden in one of the busiest areas of the city. If you want a quieter alternative to karaoke and Korean BBQ, take a trip to Koreatown and wander amongst the ancient headstones of Rosedale Cemetery, established in 1884.

Want to see the more relaxed side of L.A. and California? I went on a 2 1/2-week work trip where I got to see some lovely parts of Los Angeles without the hustle and bustle of Hollywood (well only half a day) and made the most of the Lomo blue skies and fantastic light.

The Union Station in downtown LA is usually just a place you go to...to go somewhere else. Hundreds of people arriving and leaving, you don't really notice it much outside of its usual purpose: it's just a train station. But here's what I think, it deserves a much-needed second glance.

Cruising down Hollywood Boulevard, our sweet cravings caught up with this quaint little store.

I live about an hour away from LA. I recently visited and since I am still very new to Lomography, it was a day of firsts. It was the first time I visited LA since I bought my LC-A+ and, more importantly, it was the first time I ever attempted to shot multiple exposures. LA was an absolutely amazing place for me to do this. :)

Movie studios and movie stars: it's the perfect location to take pictures with your Holga.

L.A. is Hollywood, is Bel Air, is Downtown, is the beach of Santa Monica, is Michael Jackson and is the Pier. After all, this piece of bridge in the Pacific is the absolute culmination of what LA represents. Basically, it's all about fun and relaxation.
-
Spend a day at the LA Zoo and be rewarded with some great pictures and a whole lotta fun. The animals are photogenic, and there's a lot of other cool stuff to see as well.

In the US of A most buildings don’t have a long history, considering there are churches in old Europe telling a story stretching over a thousand years. Basically everything in the states has the charm of something new and fresh. And they made a great twist out of it, because everything is convenient and tries to hit the need of the one that uses it. Take stadiums or convention halls.

Century City’s trademark Century Park Towers rise like twin prisms over West Los Angeles. Once a backlot of 20th Century Fox, Century City was developed as "a city within a city."

One of the most unique buildings in the world, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles features undulating stainless steel walls.
