    The Aachener Weiher is close to the city centre of Cologne. It's a small pond with some trees and green space around, but also very close to a street.

    Cologne without the Kölner Dom? That's unthinkable. The official name is "Hohe Domkirche St. Peter and Maria" but who cares, it's the Kölner Dom. The Dom is 157,38m, the third highest church on earth. The cathedral is only 250 meters away from the Rhein. The architectural style is Gothic. From 1880 to 1884 the Kölner Dom was the highest building in the world and it's the most popular sight in Germany. Since 1996 the cathedral is a world cultural heritage.

    "Enjoy an expedition through 3,000 years of chocolate history, either in reality by coming to the Chocolate Museum in the heart of Cologne" - this is what you get, when you walk in the riverside in Koln and stop just in front of the ship-like place, called the Chocolate museum.

    Koln, or Cologne, is the number 4 city in Germany, so it is natural, that it has something extra for every Lomographer, visiting this beautiful city. Start from getting there - I find "die Bahn" railway service very good, so I did come to Köln by train.

    I am not sure if I am correct, but a lot of natives call this THING not the cathedral, but simply the Dom. And this is not a simple cathedral nor a church it is a huge and massive and saint building, that captured my breath after the first eye-glance.
