A trip to Birmingham's German Christmas Market gave me the opportunity to play around with my analogue camera and take wonderful snapshots of the festive mood in this lovely market. It was definitely a fun-filled day that perfectly set the mood for a cheery Christmas.

I travel through Digbeth everyday on my way to work; it was the first centre of industry in Birmingham and became one of the most heavily industrialised areas in the town. But now it is all falling apart, most of the factories and warehouses are empty, so this makes a great place to take my Mini Diana on her first trip out!
