Before, when I take photos of people, they would come near me and check if they look good in the picture so they can (maybe) delete it and change their poses again. They would be then half-disappointed when they see that there are no LCD display and expect me to say “we’ll wait till I develop the film”.
Ahh. Us, film lovers would always have this little “straight-face” every time some of our lovely friends will be disappointed or would ask “so where’s the pics?”. Either it’s both from a Holga, Diana+, LC-A or an Oktomat for your sake!
Here comes the Diana+ Instant Back from Lomography. Equipped with two (2) CR2 batteries to function the system, this has made taking pictures with the Diana+ coming out instantly!!! What a revolution! Packed with that little black button you often press when you want your Instant Back to spit out a photo, this handy-yet-bulky piece of attachment for the Diana+ is waaaaaayyy to great to make your audiences smile! Plus, it is an instant film! What’s the good thing about the Instant back is that it comes with a correction lens that you have to fit inside the camera. Once done, your instant film will capture and behave with an iso 400 film. Take pictures whatever you like, just as long as you place this in your mind.
So who would say that you have to wait for the results? Equip yourself with the Diana+ Instant Back. How you play with the Diana+ camera long way back has stepped one level higher. Only this time, you can see the results in an instant — be it with a yellow burst of colors, light streaks, pinhole shots, splitzer, different lenses attachments, the list and the possibilities goes on and on and on!
So now, it has changed my life. Recording memorabilia of lives from different places and faces, this Instant Back is a sure win! You can play with your shots, have fun and who-the-hell cares? We’re all just making memories here!!! And what do I get with my friends? Not a little smile but a big one, especially when I press the button at the back and a “whirring” sound would be heard as the Instant Back finally pushes out the film, ready for some clear 1-minute-and-a-half baking as you wait for the picture to come out!
Thanks to Lomography, the Diana+ Instant Back has changed my way of life! :)
