For those who love vignetting in their photos, the Ricoh 35R is one good choice for a very affordable yet pretty feature rich camera. This simple yet performing camera features a 30mm f3.9 lens and allows operation in aperture priority. It accepts 37mm filters and allows both auto and manual focusing too. If you like using filters, this simple looking camera even allows you to use 37mm filters on it!

The 35R is powered by 2 AA batteries. You have a choice of using aperture f5.6, f11, f22 or set it to ‘P’ for a worry-free programmed auto mode. On the top of the body you can also find a hotshoe for you to use your favourite flash or paint your subjects in rainbow colors using the Colorsplash flash. Being very affordable … this plasticky feeling camera packs a punch with quite a handful of controls for you to get creative with.

This is a very cool and very interesting camera, but it's not very cheap. It's fairly rare, at least in the U.S, and it will cost you some coin if you can find one.

I'm correcting myself somewhat. I can get one right now for about $90 which I still wouldn't call "cheap", but it certainly is less than a new LC-A+ and it's "cheap" for what it does.
