Last Christmas I got this as a present and i love it more and more every day. The first time I loaded a film in it, I thought something was wrong with it, because for the large format. I felt like i was wrapping the camera in the film…

The Clack camera was manufactured by Agfa 1954-65. Earlier models had a metal body, later ones were made of plastic. It is a simple, boxlike camera, with a single-element 95mm lens with built-in yellow filter. It takes 6×9 cm pictures on 120 film. Aperture f/11 and f/12.5, Shutter about 1/30 plus B. The camera was build for ISO50, but i would recommend that you use ISO200 or higher to get better pictures. I got the best result by using ISO400. If you use a ISO100 (and there is little light) place Clack on a tripod, set the shutter at B and hold the shutter for 3-5 second before you let go. It will make a better result and you wont get blurry pictures. I haven’t tried the yellow built-in filter yet, but im sure that on a cloudy day with an B/W film it would make some great effects.

To change the film, use the bottom screw. Two arrows and a text in German and English show how to open the camera. To load the film use the grey bottom in the left side screwing clockwise. Press the shutter and say hello to your new friend…Agfa Clack
