Horizon Kompakt

The main advantage of the “Lomography Horizon Kompkat”: http://microsites.lomography.com/horizon/kompakt camera is that it achieves an effective field angle of 120 degrees horizontally and 45 degrees vertically, to expose sharp 24×58 mm images onto standard 35 mm film. The shutter speeds 1/60 and 1/2 sec enable the camera to be used in a variety of lighting conditions, even at night.

The lens moves smoothly to expose the film evenly over the full frame area which eliminates the problem of poor edge definition that frequently occurs when taking pictures with a wide angle lens. Two more things I like this camera is that I try using 1/2 sec speed with asa800 film at a warm cloudy day. It works! The film doesn’t burn and get overexposed; and if you like to play with multiple exposures, this camera can do doubles!
