AGFA Isolette - Behold The Sacred Relics

The Isolette is a bellows camera and its compact nature coupled with the fantastic AGFA lenses makes it a very efficient medium format Lomography camera for quick sniping of great shots! Just press the button to unfold the camera and shoot as if it was your Smena 8M! It is full of manual camera goodness including multiple exposures and bulb setting for long exposures !

The greatest problem is to find one in good working condition. The bellows and the shutter are sensitive to the ravages of time and most often than not these are ancient relics found in attics, exposed to not-so-ideal conditions. These problems can be fixed however, it just takes some time and someone knowledgeable. I was lucky with my Isolette and it works perfectly.

It is always really funny how people look at you when you shoot with an antique bellows camera! Several conversations have started from this. What are you waiting for? Scout for an AGFA Isolette NOW !

    @sugiyamasatomi: Thanks a lot :D
    @dogma: The picture of the camera has been added by lomography.com and is from "thecamerasite" and, I think you are right, it seems to be an Isolette V. I myself own an Isolette I and plan to upload photos of it soon, along with pics of all my other cameras, but I want it to be something special ;)
    @eyecon Thanks :D :D
    @its_gone Thank you and congratulations on getting an Isolette so cheaply! I'm looking forward to your review :)

    Nice shots! They look sufficiently old-timey for an older camera. Excellent!
