Polaroid Spectra In Expired Instant Film
written by eastmoe on February 7th, 2009 , 7 comments (4 votes)

Polaroid is the only firm offering instant-imaging print cameras in the United States today, so you don’t have any brand choice in this particular category.now fuji have their own instant to.But, Polaroid cameras are available in several different sizes of print formats, from small postage stamp size images, which are popular with young photographers, to this new model that produces 4X4-1/10-inch color prints.

The Polaroid Spectra blitz has a contemporary design with a new black colour, weighs 23 percent less than earlier models, and is quite compact when closed so it¡’s very portable. With depressions on the bottom for thumb positioning, it¡’s easy to grip tightly. The few controls are well marked and easy to operate. Two-zone manual focusing sets the camera for subjects 2 to4 feet or 4 feet to infinity. An LED light beside the bright viewfinder glows when it’s in close-up mode. The built-in flash range is from 2 to 10 feet, and since the battery is built into the film pack, you load a fresh battery every time you put in a new ten-pack of film. The resulting test prints were colorful and sharply detailed, self-developing in about a minute after they were ejected from the camera.

how do you close this camera up so it's more portable? I just bought one off ebay and it didn't come with any manual or directions. It's my first polaroid instant camera.. so I'm still learning the technical stuff.

i own this too! its a basic spectra (i.e no self timer to do double exposure) can be bulky though :P
