Lomo LCA+ RL: Love at First Roll

The best thing about this camera is the size. I can just put it in my purse and take it with me wherever I go. I don’t even have to worry about the lens scratching because it has a smart cover flap. To avoid those unwanted accidental shots, when the cover is on, the camera is locked and it won’t take any pictures.

My favorite film to use with this camera is Fuji Press 800 ISO and Lomo Slides, but any cheap film would do. Since the camera has a little film sensitivity dial, you can experiment with different film speeds from 100 to 1600. This way you can trick the camera whenever you want to under or over expose your shots individually. This camera also has a multiple exposure switch for multiple fun.

Another great thing about the LC-A + RL is the capability of producing amazing shots. That lovely vignetting and those wonderful colors make this camera simply irreplaceable. At night, this camera it’s just the best toy you can play with. Thanks to the automatic exposure the shutter will stay open for as long as it needs to, you just need to wait for that cute second click!, and you have a nice exposure in seconds. Although it doesn’t need a flash, the colorsplash flash and the LC-A+ RL are the perfect couple. You can also get all kinds of friends for your LC-A + RL including the splitzer, tunnel vision lens, wide angle lens and many more.

So if you haven’t fallen in love with this camera yet, you are missing out on a lot!
