This camera have a great design, i love how it sticks in my hand and it has a lot of incredible features like:

*Self timer

  • cable release socket
  • changeable lens
  • integrated light meter
  • adjustable shutter speeds
  • real time focus
  • and automatic aperture activation.

I will explain what „automatic aperture activation" is because this feature is really great. For example, if you have a look at range finder and at same time would change aperture setting, you wont see anything different – your view will not get darker like in the Zenit E. Aperture will automatically close when you will push shutter button.

I have tested this camera in very different conditions, used negative, slides, b/w films on it and this large caliber machine never let me down. Light meter was very useful in low light situations, but you must assure that it works correctly, because of old age frequently it can be damaged and out of order.

I really love the sound of shutter and the way how shutter speed sets. To set the shutter speed, you need simply lift up the shutter speed dial in its totality, turn it to the desired value and drop it. Make sure it clicks in by twisting it around a little bit until it falls. Also, make sure that you’ve actually set the correct shutter speed. Many speeds are close to each other.
Uhh enough talking let’s see some pictures.
