From the moments onwards, i desperately want a LCA as my snap shot camera. I log in to lomography shop to buy the LCA and i found that the money i have is not enough for me to get a LCA+. Therefore i decided to buy LCA-refurbished instead.

I was so excited when i got the LCA because it is equipped with the sexiest USSR made Minitar 32mm Lens. I feel extremely comfortable when i hold it in my hand because it is very compact in size and it has more function. LCA has the extra function to set the desire aperture and i really love it!

I’ve tried LCA with many different types of 35mm slide film or negative film and the result that i obtained are superb! The first roll of film that i feed my LCA is the Kodak Elitechrome as the testing roll, i was so happy to see the result of my first roll and i’ve set some picture as the lomohome key image. After one week, i got the LOMOHOME OF THE DAY award. I totally cannot believe it, and I believe the LCA brings me luck as well. This makes me love my LCA-Refurbished more.

In my opinion LCA is suitable to shoot in any types of condition even in indoor, the color will turn out nicely and proper expose if you hold the shutter until you hear the second click. The picture taken by LCA will always surprise me. Some of the picture even get award from lomography.com through the competitions. One of the reasons that i love LCA is because of the 4 distance setting. It is easy and fast when come to snap shot and it enables me to focus the object that i want to capture. With the F/2.8 Minitar lens, I’m able to capture a nice image with shallow depth of view when i set the distance to 0.8m and use F/2.8.

I think every lomographer must have a LCA in their bag. If you don’t have enough money to go for LCA+, LCA-Refurbished will definitely be your best choice!
