Imagine your subject, multiplied nine times in a photograph – that’s what you get with the Pop 9 camera.
The Pop 9 comes in two shiny colors – black, and gold. There are nine individual lenses (24mm, F/11) lined up in 3×3, a viewfinder, and a built-in flash. It has a shutter speed firing up at 1/100 second, and a focal range from 0.8m to infinity, ensuring that your images are sharp. It’s also equipped with a protective lens cover, and a nylon hand strap.
With the Pop 9, your subjects will form a weave of pattern in a 3×3 grid layout, and the photos will look excellent lined up randomly. It’s a very simple and convenient camera – it uses any 35mm film. Try some slides and have it cross-processed – it’ll make your patterns super-saturated and extra-colorful. A nod to Andy Warhol and the Pop Art movement? Yes!

Lomowall lovers and pattern pundits will relish the nona-squares of the POP9. The lenses create refreshing pop art from the prosaic and commonplace, multiplying their qualities many times over, like a cat with nine lives! With this camera, I enjoy capturing nature’s patterns and juxtaposing images by double exposing an LC-A or Fisheye roll. When shooting second exposures with the POP9, make sure to shoot upside down since it loads the other way around, if you want both double-exposed images to be the right side up. Keep on poppin’!
