The Lomography Gallery Store Rio de Janeiro has launched today in great style in Ipanema. After months of hard work the team celebrated the sucess cutting a Lomo camera chocolate cake with the brazilian Lomography comunity that was all there.
More than 600 people crowded the store and Visconde de Pirajá street. There was a great show of the band Brasov that made a cool performance playing from the street to the main stage making a tribute to Lomography’s origin with musics from East Europe.
Of course drinks were a great sucess between the guests but the tradicionals beach cookies Globo didn’t stay behing and where seen in everyone’s hands!
The online live transmission throught Internet and the frenetic interaction in Twitter from people even inside the store ensured the happiness of those who couldn’t go to the party and turn into a kind of legacy of this historic moment that was the oppening of the first Lomography store of Latin America.
The press was also strongly present covering the event and even the recording of a TV series episode from Channel Multishow happened there!
It was a huge sucess! Lomography has in fact entered Brazil with right foot!
