Introduce yourself:

My name is Corinne, I’m forty years old, I work as a pharmacist, and I live in Nice, France.

Interests: photography, travels, music, movies, gazing at the sea, walking in the mountains, doing nothing…

1. What was your first Lomographic experience? How was it?

I started with the famous HOLGA, bought at the former Nice Ambassy – Hi mister jazzgohan ! –
But I have to confess that my first roll was awfull. I shot in the old town, the film was underexposed, and the pics ugly.

What’s your favorite photography/Lomography trick?

I love to cross-process my films, especially with the diana, but sometimes the film is a bit too much burned, because there’s too much sun in my city (lol).

What’s your favourite camera + film combo? (and why do you like it?)

Diana cam + portra 160 vc ! I like to associate a low-fi cam with a professional film, I’m never disappointed by the results!

Any funny or strange experiences while taking pictures?

When I shoot with my horizon cam, I love the attitude of people when they see and hear the cam : they wonder : what is this strange and noisy thing ? They often ask me questions about the cam.

Someone wants your photo up on a billboard. Which photo would it be?

Mmm, hard choice ! Maybe the one of the man who is doing a snap at noon in the desert in Mauritania, I love the crazy colors and it reminds me a wonderful trip.

If you could collaborate with someone for a Lomographic project, who would it be and why?

I appreciate very much the work and the style of these lomographers :

Vicuna, disdis , stouf, jelga, xpunklovex, mephito19, jazzgohan – who is too rare nowadays – lovely-lena and kylewis, a-l-b-e-r-t-o, wilka6, superlighter, panelomo, thitasigma, bravopires…but there are so many inspired lomographers !

A day in the life of azurblue:

I get up early because I like to take time, I drink my two cups of coffee usually with bread and butter, and I connect myself to internet, then I go the work. I’m back home around 18H.

One time in the week I go to the black and white lab (I’m taking lessons), sometimes I go to the theatre, to the cinema or to the swimming pool.

I like to rest at home doing nothing special, too ( like surfing on the internet, reading books or listening to the radio.). I never watch TV.

Name three things that inspire you.

The sea and the beaches, unkown cities, and new cams.

What’s keeping you busy lately?

Surfing on the internet, scanning my pics, reading a good book, what else ?…

Recommend something good! (book, place, food…anything, really :)

If you go to Nice, don’t forget to stop at Fenocchio, in the old town, close to the cathedral : they sale the best ice creams of the universe ! The haselnut is divine, but you have the choice between 90 tastes !
